  1. Wow, that’s a lot of happy!
I like being as publicly grumpy as possible to provide an object lesson for other grumpy people and inspire them to be happy before they turn into me.

    What? It’s a public service. 😉

    • Hahaha! Wouldn’t that be awesome though? I’d love to get paid for making public service announcements on being happy! You get’em grumpy, send them to me to make’em happy. Split the profits? I see a business plan coming together….LOL!

  2. Hey gorgeous! Great to see your blog today.

Your happiness bandage equates to the saying “fake it till you make it”. That phrase has always had negative connotations, like someone is trying to be two-faced or something. But that’s not it at all. Our emotions are such weird things aren’t they? They flip-flop often, according to the wind direction, it seems. I’ve had to stop myself from repeating over and over in my mind “man, I’m tired”. Tired thoughts begets tiredness. Forced smiles (especially when looking in the mirror when doing so) begets hilarity. I like how you described that.

I also like your list. But you know what’s missing? Bobby McFerrin. I don’t mean his over-played “Don’t Worry Be Happy” song (although that’s a good one). I mean his full-on concerts, where he just stands there, alone or with others (it’s always fun when he gets others involved) and just plays for the sheer joy of making music. Honest to God, he’s my favourite musician of all time. If there’s a heaven, he’ll be there, and then a lot of us can stand around making music with him with no time or exhaustion limits.

Here’s an hour and 45 minute link to get you started. Listening and watching him is like getting a B12 shot of pure joy.

    • B12 of joy! I agree!

Hi beautiful. So glad to chat again. Yes “fake it till you make it” is so right. I should have just started with that. 🙂

Thanks for the link (love, love, love him). Hugs!
